Q. What sizes do Koala Bags come in?
A. We currently offer two sizes: 1000ml and 1500ml. Perfect for snacks, meals, or anything you need to keep fresh on the go.

Q. Are Koala Bags safe for food?
A. Absolutely! Koala Bags are made with food-safe, BPA free, high-quality materials sourced from trusted suppliers who provide eco-certification.

Q. How do I clean my Koala Bags?
A. Just wash with warm, soapy water or pop them in the top rack of your dishwasher. Easy as that—ready for your next trip!

Microplastics, Silicone & Tritan: What You Need to Know

Q: What are microplastics, and why should campers care?
A: Microplastics are tiny pieces of plastic (less than 5mm) that break off from single-use containers, bags, and other plastic items. They pollute our rivers, soil, and even end up in our food. For campers and outdoor lovers, microplastics threaten the very wild places we cherish.

Q: Do Koala Bags contribute to microplastics?
A: No! Koala Bags are made from an advanced, reusable material (silicone) that’s built to last and doesn’t break down into microplastics—even after years of use. Unlike traditional plastics, silicone is stable, durable, and designed to keep both your food and the wild microplastic-free.

Q: What about the clips? Are they plastic?
A: Our clips are made from Tritan, a BPA-free, ultra-tough plastic chosen for its strength and safety. While any plastic can eventually break down if abused, Tritan is way more durable than single-use plastics and is unlikely to shed microplastics during normal use. We recommend recycling broken clips when possible.

Q: Why not use only silicone?
A: For food safety, flexibility, and a leak-proof seal, silicone is unbeatable. For the closure, we needed something extra tough—hence Tritan for the clips. It’s all about balancing durability, safety, and sustainability.

Q: How can I help reduce microplastic pollution while camping?
A: Choose reusable gear like Koala Bags, avoid single-use plastics, and care for your equipment. Every smart swap keeps microplastics out of your next adventure!
